Another black eye for the NBA

I remember the days when former Maimi Heat guard Tim Hardaway used to run the floor, now that he is retired he does nothing more than run his mouth. Yesterday on some pissant radio show the has been had this to say...

"You know, I hate gay people, so I let it be known," Hardaway said Wednesday, according to a transcript on the Miami Herald Web site. "I don't like gay people and I don't like to be around gay people. I am homophobic. I don't like it. It shouldn't be in the world or in the United States."

As if the NBA didn't have a crappy enough image, then this has been comes crawling out of the woodwork and comments about his former teammate, Don Amaechi, being gay. Well, Timmy boy, Americans have to put up with the over-inflated egos and uninformed and uneducated interviews from college dropouts who populate the NBA so I guess you're just going to have to deal with a few gays in this country too.
