Just how crazy is Minnesota's freshman representative and God warrior Michele Bachmann? Pretty damn crazy because on February 7th in an unpublished but podcasted interview with a reporter from the St. Cloud Times, she claimed to know of a top-secret government plan for Iraq which would split the country, essentially turning control of a portion of Iraq over to Iran which would use it as a safe-haven for terrorists and staging terrorist attacks.
Of course, over the weekend Bachmann backpedaled and retracted those comments saying it is unknown at this time what will happen eventually to Iraq. This also comes in the wake of V.P. Dick Cheney stating that while war with Iran isn't being planned that all options are still on the table if they continue with their nuclear program.
Hey, I'm not advocating Iran's nuclear program even if they claim it is entirely for the purpose of electricity. Any country led by a man as crazy as their insane leader must be watched but after seeing how well the war in Iraq has gone, do we really think that, as a nation, it is in our best interest to invade another country that did nothing to provoke or immediately threaten us even if all options are on the table but a war isn't being planned?
