And it snowed

I've determined that with basically everything shut down today in the state of Minnesota, we have become soft. Sure, my yard is blanketed with 16 or 18 inches of snow which was anything but a picnic to shovel but we've had worse storms. I know because my dad said so and what he says goes.

Despite how pathetically weak us supposedly rugged Minnesotans have gotten, 16 or 18 inches of snow is impressive to say the least. Hell, take a look...

There's no way in hell I was going to mess with the white balance so live with the bluish cast on yesterday's photo taken during a lull in the Tsnownami around 4:30 PM. after the city plowed my driveway shut for the third time.
The froth on top of our old garage is only about a foot deep but look impressive since we haven't seen much snow lately.
No snowblowers here. A former farm kid won't touch the things. This nearly six-foot tall pile of snow is the product of one single shovel.
Somewhere under this pic taken at 5:37 PM Friday is our haggard old Cedar tree next to our turn of the century villa.

It's safe to say that the only place flowers like this will thrive for a while is inside...Link
If you're wondering about the well-being of the Farm Bureau yard stick used in last weekend's pictures, forget about it. That sombitch is buried somewhere beyond the back steps.
