I don't actually talk much news here anymore because, frankly, we are barraged by it all day and do you really need one more angry guy talking 'bout it? I didn't think so either.
Sunday marked the 91st Indianapolis 500. To me, this is real racing. It involves finesse, technology and precision. Far from the brute force displayed and used in NASCAR racing. Indy racing isn't about good old boys, it has a certain tradition and has a more cultured and international flavor. There are also women who race and are very competitive -- plus some are easy on the eyes. Danica Patrick, for instance, is the most successful. She led a lap during her inaugural race at Indianapolis and has finished in 8th place for two years running.
Oh sure, there were other happenings but that's about all I personally heard of and/or witnessed.
