It's not a surge, it's an augmentation

All this time, I had associated the phrase "augmentation" with those busty lifeguards from "Baywatch" but as of yesterday it has a new meaning. Augmentation is now what everyone's favorite black woman, a black woman who is so diligent that she works on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Condoleeza Rice calls the additional push of over 20,000 troops to Iraq.

RICE: Senator, I think it would be highly unlikely for the military to tell the President 'We expect X number of casualties because of this augmentation of the forces' ...and again, let me just say, the President sees this as an effort to help the Iraqis with an urgent task, so that the sectarian violence in Baghdad does not outrun the political process and make it impossible to have the kind of national reconciliation that we all want to see there.

Call it whatever the fuck you want but it's a surge, an augmentation, an addition, a quagmire and a cluster-fuck but Condoleeza Rice is just another Bush bootlicker who is incapable of having her own opinion and is being increasingly seen as a disgrace to her race and even seen as a disgrace and unnecessary by rich white guys with atrocious comb-overs.

Rice's inability to accept even the phrase "surge" is incomprehensible even to an admittedly simple Minnesotan such as myself. Surge is such a simple word to define... think of it as a rush, a push or an addition. I guess augmentation has the same definition but she has the gall to nitpick over one similar word.

Get the hell off your white stallion (AKA George W. Bush, she says he's just a friend...) and realize that a majority of Americans hold you in a great deal of contempt. We are fed up with your backpedalling and redefinition of every damn thing that another of your cohorts says. You know things are bad when I agree with Donald Trump!

I thought I was everyone's favorite black woman. Or Oprah. It's probably Oprah if you take a poll.
