Wow, Lisa Nowak's friend whom the original story quoted must be simply brilliant. What was her first clue? Was it the fact that Nowak drove 900 miles wearing a diaper? A diaper? Not just any diaper but an actual Astro-Diaper approved for astronauts to wear upon leaving and re-entering Earth's atmosphere.
Or maybe it was the fact the Nowak had a few feet of rubber hosing presumably for use in stopping that oh-so-messy blood loss once she would have hacked up her "romantic rival".
Was that the clue from Nowak's friend that she had, in fact, "snapped"?
Or maybe it was the fact that Nowak had made use of her Astro-Diaper (albeit only a number one) at some point during her 900-mile trip that reportedly involved a hotel stay. I am thinking that a true psychotic individual would overcome the need to sleep and drive straight through just itching to make use of her newly purchased 4-pound metal mallet.
What's even more sad than a supposedly smart astronaut making the necessary preparations to hack her romantic rival to kabob-sized bits is the fact that Americans have latched tightly on to this non-event. Hell, people lose their sanity on a daily basis and go all out, proving that they aren't there. It really isn't newsworthy but I've heard and seen so much of this non-story that I had to beat the dead horse a few... more... times...
Dammit, I should have used some rubber tubing because beating a dead horse is surprisingly messy.

Hey, I use several feet of rubber tubing on all the long trips I take in fits of insanity. It doesn't mean I'm going to kill anybody.
And I'm telling you, that diaper idea sounds down right USEFUL.
The smart money says those diapers will be marketed within 6 months. Target groups will include; long distance truckers, outside sales people, bus drivers, and old farts in motor homes! The Astrodiaper is coming soon!
