All I can say about Great Britain pulling its troops out of Iraq is "great". By the smart nation of Great Britain removing its troops from Iraq, they are effectively saying "Hey Mr. Bush, you are doing a smashing good job with those buggers in Iraq and we are just getting in the way!"
I agree. The moves in Iraq are nothing short of progress. The USA will now have no British tarts in our way as we march towards freedom for the oppressed nation of Iraq. We, despite of a few objectors, are moving forward with our plan to instill democracy not just in Iraq but throughout the middle east. Retreating and "re-deploying" the troops in Iraq would essentially hand the reigns to the terrorists who would then follow us home and, through an an edless barrage of terror strikes on our own soil, fight the war that should be fought in Iraq here on our own American soil.
I also applaud likely republican presidential nominee John McCain for stepping back into the light and apologigizing for his attrocious comments about vice president Dick Cheney. Cheney's pre-war stance was correct regardless of what supposed "facts" he knew of. McCain was nothing short of out of line in essentially questioning the vice president. McCain should feel blessed that Cheney has such a kind heart and saw fit to welcome him back into the fold.
********
I feel dirty for writing that but I tried to see things through the rose-colored glasses that about 30% of Americans still use for their daily sight-correction. Damn. I feel downright sorry for people who apologize for every move made and question nothing.
