It can't be...
It seems almost impossible but in less than ten days the meager but increasingly strong Minnesota sun has managed to put a significant dent in the 2+ feet of snow that had blanketed the landscape from our two February storms. I can see the actual surface of my driveway and my street seems wider. Amazing. Even though my weather widget says it's only 41 degrees, my short-sleeve wearing self begs to differ. I know it's all psychological but the early time change sure gives a guy hope that the great final spring thaw is jettisoning closer.

I called my parents to gloat about the near 80 degree weather here today. They were too elated at the snow melting to listen to me. I hate when that happens.
It was 60 something today. I lounged outside for the better part of 4 hours.
I now have my first sunburn of the season.
It was worth it.
