Could the net vanish in 4 years?
It sounds like some delightful conspiracy theory for the foil hat crowd but the arguments put forth by the iPower guys in this video seem valid. I, for one, would rather be safe than sorry.
The subject of net neutrality came to the surface in June 2007 with online radio streaming being the hot button issue but has since disappeared. Thinking about that development, maybe there is a lot of truth to this topic about the major ISPs being in cahoots with the major web portals and sites to develop a tiered subscription plan within four years which would effectively shut down those who don't pay a "carrier fee" to the ISPs. The internet would essentially turn into cable television where the channels catering to the masses would be basic but if you like yourself some online beastiality, you might find yourself out of luck. Plausible?

Well.....seeing as I am not that big a fan of beastialty....I think I will be fine! :)
AND....computer geek girl with huge boobs and an extremely low cut shirt? THERE's your conspiracy! (hee-hee)
They would be very unwise to do such a thing. It would be the last straw. Millions of WoW players would be putting strychnine in the guacamole. Trust me, you do not come between a gamer and his isp without risking your soul.
If there is even a grain of truth to what is said in this video, there'd be a bit of an uprising of sorts.
I don't know what in the hell they are talking about but that girl has some freakin' awesome cleavage!!
I think someone will actually try it, but fail...
What are they saying? Something-trality?
slick's comment cracked me up.
Very plausible... One thing corporate entities can be counted on is to always act in their best interests. And it's in their best interest for you to pay them as much as possible for what little they do for you.
