My baby's a beggar

Sure, she's not born yet (6-7 weeks to go) but she's been telling me what it is that she still needs to prepare for her glorious arrival.

First off, she said she is very excited to have a 110 year old house to call home. She is even more impressed that her room has two vibrant colors on the wall, wide-plank original hardwood floors, a sweet glider-rocker to snuggle with her mommy in and a killer mural that compliments the animal/safari theme in her awesome new pad.

She isn't all compliments, though. She expressed her displeasure with me for not arriving at a solution for the ultimate location of mom's dresser. Patience, child, I'll figure something out.

Then she went on to say that even though things are looking pretty well prepared, she still would like to have a few necessities before she calls the glorious, south-facing, second floor bedroom her home. That's why she (via me) cooked up this sweet Amazon Wish List. It's amazingly sparse but she said she'll probably have a few more wishes which she'd like granted but that she thanks you in advance for your generosity.

She also mentioned that she likes photography which is good because MinnPics, while being dangerously single-minded, is the definitive place for the best photography in all of Minnesota.

Good lord, I am shameless. What's next, an overload of cute baby photos after mid-November? Yeah. Probably.

Believe me, it gets worse as they get older. Emma now wants a horse and a bigger house. She keeps asking me when we are going to move to a bigger home. I am like, what? 3,000 SF isn't enough?
