After a long week at the coal mines, I spent some time Friday night, after cleaning the coal dust from my face, trying some night photography. I'd been wanting to try this out since I sat in on a photography training session waaaay back in February. Now that the warm weather has finally set in here in Minnesota, I have that luxury.

Streaks of light on Friday night.

Possible some of those same streaks of light on the highway parked in the streets Saturday afternoon.

That "streaking stuff" is way cool! Do more!!!
One of the great mystery's I've never been able to figure out, is why, after spending several (hundred?) thousand dollars for a new home....why do women always "attack the bathrooms then the curtains" for their first remodeling jobs???
I'm impressed.
I'm not into cars, trucks or even night driving, but I am definitely impressed.
Particularly with photo # 1.
Beautiful. And I love old cars. Probably because I grew up in a family of mechanics. My dad used to car for this rich dude's private garage, which was full of vintage racing cars, and he'd take me out driving in them. His favorite was a bug eyed sprite, I think it was a '52 or something. It was awesome.
Nice camera work. You have got talent in capturing the world. keep it up.
I had a '59 Ford F-100 for awhile.. it never looked as good as that earlier model, believe me!
Imagine the cost to drive those cars now with gas prices so high. I still like them though.
Nice! You take those with an SLR or your standard point and shoot?
James, I use a Nikon D80 SLR. These were taken with the 18-55mm lens.
